Invitation to a General Assembly meeting

The Oromo Community Organization (OCO) has planned to hold a General Assembly (GA) meeting on November 19, 2011 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Oromo house for the purpose of electing members of a nominating committee. The nominating committee will identify (nominate) individual candidates from among members of our community and present this to a future GA meeting so that the qualified candidates will be elected to serve in the OCO committee during the 2012-2014 budget years.

We would, therefore, kindly invite you to come to the Oromo house on the above-indicated date and time to elect members of a nominating committee.

Oromo House Dinner Night

One of the functions of the Oromo Community Organization is to arrange events to enable its members to get together at intervals for socialization and exchange of ideas. As such the OCO has been organizing “Oromo House Dinner Nights” since the Oromo House was inaugurated. Members have also encouraged the OCO to organize the dinner programs at intervals to enable them enjoy the dinner together, entertain, refresh, and support the Oromo House to pay its mortgage.
Accordingly, the OCO is organizing “Oromo House Dinner Night” for June 18, 201, at 6:00PM, at the Oromo House. Tickets are available with the Board/EC/OH Committee members and supporters. Revenue generated from the ticket sales goes to the payment of OH mortgage. Mark your calendar to come to the dinner to enjoy yourselves, socialize, exchange ideas, and support your House. Different programs will be conducted to entertain you.
