Six People are killed during a wave of new protests in Oromia

Addis Ababa – The vice chair of Oromo Peoples Democratic Organization (OPDO) says protests in the restive Oromia region left six people dead on Wednesday (October 11 2017) as anti-government demonstrations return to Oromia regional state. Dr Abiy Ahmed says more than 30 people were injured in clashes in Shashamane town and an area called Boke. He did not say who was responsible for the killings.
